For me a family holiday to Switzerland via Lyon meant a cheap holiday and tons of kayaking.
The Thun river Jam brings river surfing and kayaking together in the middle of the city as over 100 riders gather to for some sweet rides

 | Eurocup 3 - Spain, Galicia
The third and final Euro cup of 2007 was due to take place in Galicia in the north western corner of Spain. 1,264 miles of road, the English Channel, many hundreds of French toll roads and Lyon separated us and the Mino River.

 | Spanish Eurp Cup/Road Trip Day One
On the drive down to Galicia we decided to stop in at Lyon after some txt messaging Dicky and Seb decided to drive up from Briancon to Join Me (Timmy) Flic and Jo, on arriving at Lyon we found the wav was being perfectly formed at around 780 cumecs.

Back in the UK now after our Euro Trip and I am already missing my boats.. after having a much needed rest day I decided that my Jackson All Star needed a work out. after checking Sunbury and finding it was way to low Me and Flic updated Dicky on our plans and headed to Hurley.

 | Austria Day 2 - Upper Isel
Today we decided to paddle the upper Isel, the put in is a beautiful village of Hinterbichl set in the Austrian Alps. The IV+ river starts with a nice 4m waterfall at the top of the village, as we prepared to run the drop we realised we started to gather a crowd of locals and hikers to watch the fun.

 | Austria Day 1 - Defreggenbache River
Today we started our first river play, With 3 Nations (English, Dutch, French) loaded up for play time we headed to the Defreggenbache river for some 3/4 Rapids. With Timmy and Flic paddleing the new 2007 Jackson Rocker Range
